About
I am a satirist interested in a variety of media, especially literary fiction and film. I grew up in Chicagoland, around which I’m best known for starting the Oak Park River Forest High School Debate Team, and later attended the University of Chicago. Since graduating I have lived in New York and Paris, where I wrote a novel for which I am seeking representation. I am currently back in Chicago, where the living is cheap and the mayor is good. Nevertheless, my permanent address remains in Manhattan, as changing it would lead to enormous legal problems. I wish that were a joke.
I have created this website so that people who are interested in my work have a place to go to find more of it. If you like what I’m doing, please say so! If you want to work with me on a project/help distribute my already existent work, I will also be very happy to talk with you.
Here’s another personal statement that’s more tongue-in-cheek.
This and this explain where I’m coming from.
